THAT DRY VAGINA

The burden of a dry vagina has been carried by menopausal women to the extent of making sexual intercourse painful. Younger, non menopausal women have also been reporting this challenge. A young lady complained to me a while ago about this challenge. She couldn't bring herself to get wet in anticipation for sex; foreplay didn't make it better either. After due investigation I realised she was on some medications which on withdrawal changed the situation for better even if it was gradual and with some extra help.
Antihistamines; medications for cold, catarrh, allergy e.t.c could be the culprit causing your vagina dryness. Tricyclic antidepressants, used to manage depression can also cause vaginal dryness. The medications women find most difficult to believe can cause vaginal dryness are birth control pills. If you have this challenge and on any of these medications, please discuss with your Physician or Health professional.
Anxiety and stress are also major culprits in the cause of dry vagina.

The quick fix for vaginal dryness is a lubricant, easily found at any shopping mall, supermarket, or pharmacy. Brand names include AstroGlide, K-Y, LifeStyles, Replens, Zestra and Vibrel.
