This
question is from a young concerned mother who feels she’s been getting orgasms
from her baby’s suckling.
Well,
the same set of hormones secreted during sex, providing a feeling of safety,
joy, trust and promoting bonding are also released when a child is born to help
the woman bond to her baby.
Orgasm
in itself is a nervous reaction and occurs in the spinal cord. There are women
who attain orgasm from stimulation of their breasts, nipples and areola. With
all this in mind there could be a window of possibility for this to occur.
Since
you are or think you are experiencing this, it could make you hesitate in
breastfeeding your baby especially in public. There is a solution which has to
do with your mind power. The mind has powerful effect on the human body.
Whenever you breastfeed your baby I suggest you get absent minded or think of
chores or challenges. It could also help if you discuss with your partner to
stop caressing or sucking your breast until the baby stops breastfeeding. I
wish you luck
